The Short & Documentary Filmschool K&DF is a vocational
fund. Our goal is to contribute, through the media
to a diversive and democratic media culture, and exercising
the following activities:
- Film courses
- Workshops
- In house Productions
- Out of house productions and Co-productions
Through 14 years in Denmark, the K&DF has developed into the biggest supplier
of film courses.
Teachers are all experienced professionals, all aspects of the process of filmmaking
are being taught, K&DF conducts courses in Final Cut Pro, AVID, Pro Tools, After
Effects etc., or Documentary, short films not to forget: screenwriting. The use
of our screenwriting consultants is at a rise.
Courses held in English are available.
K&DF can offer a variety of individual patch worked schemes, thereby channelling
both career and personal wishes into a creative and qualitative choice; in that
way the Filmschool will help monitoring and integrate the students talents and
capabilities within production.
K&DF has a particular strength within short and documentary film. Our intension
is to work toward a niche in education: producing intensive beginners classes,
as well as targeted courses for the experienced user..
In time, K&DF has facilitated and implemented several hundred courses for individuals,
institutions and the private sector. Courses vary from a week up to three months
and can be sequensed together up to a year.
Ultimately, our goal is to personalize the authenticity in each production. thereby
the participants at the Danish Short & Documentary Film School will achieve a
professional level, helping to release their creativity. Our vision is to combine
those skills, through reputation, openess and co-operation.
